More Memebox Love!

I don't know why i don't blog more? I love doing it, I think about it, I take pictures and then for some reason I don't blog, lol. I'm really working on changing that! So I'm going to continue on with the Memeboxes I have been receiving!!!

Superbox #29-Burst of Colour

This box is hands down my most favourite box yet! I give it an 11 out of 10! The price of this box was $39.00+$6.99=$45.99. With codes I used I paid $28.99 (the most I've ever paid for a box!). Boy was it worth it! The total value of the box is $160!!! Now the fun part...photos!!!

I always love that first peek of what you have received!

Then once I remove the product card, I just stare at it for about 20 seconds to take all the goodness in!

The best part is pulling out everything from the box and again staring at it, lol! I really do find it fun taking it all in! I like to prolong the process as much as possible. I guess after years of open boxes, I found this works well for me, lol.

Hope Girl 3D Powder Blusher 5g ($18)

First off, I had to check out the blush, being the blush hoarder I am. Wow, it is so beautiful! From the mirror on the top, to the blush coming through the container and through the brush (something I never seen before and I love it!) this Hope Girl blush is gorgeous. The box came with either 01 Sexy Rose or 03 Girly Pink. I received the pink and I'm very happy I did!

Mein Sua Young Mineral Essence In Liquid Foundation SPF PA+++30g ($34)

One advantage I have with ordering Korean beauty products is that I am very fair. I feel for those that are not, because not everyone is pale like me. I have to say I love this foundation! I've been wearing Holika Holika BB cream for a few years now. Then I changed to the Bling Bling BB cream from Memebox #11. I always liked liquid foundation and its been a long time since I've worn it, but I love this formula. Great pick Memebox!

Y.E.T Catgirl Waterproof Pen Liner Black 0.5g ($9)

When I saw this I nearly died. When your a crazy cat lady like myself, anything with a cat on it is purrfect! I have yet to open it, as I have a pen liner on the go and I don't want to dry this one out.

LadyKin Close-Up Decuple Fitting Powder 20g ($17)

I have not yet tried this powder yet, but I definitely will be! I love loose powder after applying my BB cream, it works great with my skin. I have lots of these, so I will try it tomorrow when I go for lunch! The product card lists that this item was randomly selected from #21,#23,#33. I have no clue which I received, lol.

Beauty People 10 Seconds Auto Eye Liner Pencil x2 ($48, so $24 each)

  1. At first I was like, ok $24 seems like a high price for an eyeliner, but after swatching and trying these, I would definitely pay that much! These are absolutely stunning. The pigmentation is outstanding and once it is on, it will not smudge, and trust me, I tried rubbing off the swatch on my hand extremely hard! It can also be used as an eyeshadow as well! They were sent out in pair, I received 02 Diamond Burgundy/Diamond Natural Berry. The other set was 01 Diamond Bronze/Diamond Beige.

Hope Gil Tinted Cushion Lipstick 1.1g ($12)

This came in either 03 Coral Pink or 04 Neon Orange, I received the later. I was so hoping for the Coral Pink, that was the one tiny flaw of this box. I can't expect to always get what I want, the colors I received in the previous items made up for it! I did try it and it is very orange, lol. But I love the built in cushion on the other end to help adjust the shade. Worn lightly it is actually quite nice. For those who love orange, you would love this!

Hope Girl Wonder Magic Mascara 7ml ($22)

I have so many mascara's, but I have yet to try one from Korea. So I think I'm going to try it out tomorrow when I go for lunch!

So there is Superbox #29-Burst of Colour 2! I'm sure by reading this post you can tell i was over the moon with happiness with this box! I am more of a makeup person then skin care, so I tend to gravitate to those boxes. I love the Global boxes, for just the right mix. Today I received 2 Memeboxes!!! It was mainly purchased because it was a set that came with the men's Memebox #2 and it came with Superbox #37-At Home. My boyfriend was ecstatic with his box! He is into his skin big time, so this was huge for him! The At Home box has quite the mixture of products! I will review that tomorrow! That is all for the day, I hope your day has been filled with happiness! :)

~ Memebox Madness ~

Memebox Madness Has Begun...

After reading and hearing about Memebox, I knew I had to jump on board! I've been a user of Korean BB cream for the last few years, and I know the wonderfullness of Korean products. Though I have not fully experienced enough yet! I was intrigued by the fact that Memebox shipped to so many countries and the boxes looked fabulous for the price! I warn you now though, after you order just one, it can quickly become an obsession (at least for me it has, lol). I have now received my first two boxes, with another, ahem, eleven to come! So the first box I had arrive was Memebox Global #11, and I was not disappointed one bit! Here are the contents...

I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't take more than two weeks to get here, Canada that is! It came packaged very well.

The box itself is beautiful and very easily reusable!

Here is my very first peak inside, I could tell I was going to be very happy!

Once I removed the product card, I got to see the glorious insides, hehe! It all looked so nice, I just sat and stared at it for a few minutes, then I dug in!

Here is everything I received, doesn't it all look amazing!!!

I will be editing this post with more pics and notes shortly...

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure

So I was lucky enough to be chosen for another Influenster VoxBox! This time i was sent imPress Press-On Manicure by Broadway Nails. Well, I've been gifted the ability to grow thick long nails that some people are envious about, lol. Here is a picture of my last diy manicure...

So as you can see I grow quite long nails. So at first I wasn't sure how I could try the   imPress, but then I noticed my pointer finger had cracked and thought I could try it as an accent nail!

Ok, here is what I was sent (with my Holly Hobby tray)  :)

I received two "bottles" of imPress nails. The one on the left is called "It Girl" #150 and the one on the right is called "Evil Queen" (this one seems themed and by looking at the packaging it might be evil Disney female villian's!). It was the one I decided to try, I figured it would work well with a bright solid colour!

I love how the imPress nails come in a cute little nail bottle! It can be easily reused to store all kinds of things! I love when I can reuse packaging.

Along with the nails comes a little wipe, which is just an alcohol swab . There is also a prep pad, was not sure how this works, but I think you put the finger you are putting the nail press on, on top of it to prevent sliding. I could be totally wrong too, so don't quote me on that, lol.

So here Is a photo of my naked nails!

So i followed the directions and applied one imPress nail on my pointer finger. I have to say the colour is really stunning! It was very easy to apply!

Then a chose a polish from my collection. I went with "Spot On! Pink" (614) a Special Edition from Gosh cosmetics.

From just using one, i would say that in my case they will work great for me. Whenever and whichever finger nail i break i can put on an imPress nail and work my manicure around it. I did notice that from the side you can tell it is higher than my own nail bed, but it could be that I did not apply enough pressure on that spot. So all and all i found them easy to use and for people who dont have time to do their nails, this would work!

Thank you again Influenster for choosing me to review this product!

*I received these products complimentary for testing purposes.

~ More Whimseybox ~

~ Whimseybox December 2013 ~

Here is my Dec 2013 box from Whimseybox. As you may notice I jump from month to different month, lol. I seem to have them pile up when I get busy! Then I grab a box and get busy! I was super excited with the contents...

Here is the opened box! It contains Das Modeling Material (air dry clay), a doily (For design), a round metal circle, nail file, a wood tool, an awesome 5x7" inch print of feathers (the directions are on the inside), an air dry pin and a really cool Calendar for 2014!

Here is a better picture of some of the tools. My clay dish is formed and sitting in the cup as you can see. It says to let it sit overnight, which I did!

Tada...Here is my first ever clay anything, lol. The directions always show alternatives, so I painted my whole dish white and then emphasized the doily design with a couple shades of orange! It was so much fun! I have so much left over clay that I can make many dishes! I have lots of cute rubber stamps that I want to work with next! I will post pictures of what I create.

So, as per usual, Whimseybox was amazing this month and every month.

Back to Crafts and Whimseybox Projects!

Whimseybox I Love You...

If you recall I did an unboxing of my September 2013 Whimseybox and it was a macrame project. Well, here is the finished product...

It looked hard, so I had put off making it, lol. I eventually made it around Christmas and it wasn't as hard as it looked! Whimseybox does an amazing job at giving very detailed instructions.
I have to say that learning to make this macrame wall hanging was lots of fun. Once i got started I couldn't stop, it took a few hours to make with breaks in between!

If anyone would like to subscribe to Whimseybox, please use my referral link and you will save $5 off your first box! Thanks!

Mystery Revealed ~ Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser

Well, I guessed correct on the brand and that makes me really happy because it is affordable! Also, I've always liked other Fructis products I've tried before.

I have coarse hair and I dye it, so it is only sometimes soft. The Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser blew me away with how soft my hair felt after using the products. My boyfriend even commented on how soft it really is now! This is definitely my new hair routine! I'm so thankful that I was chosen to participate in this testing because otherwise I might never have tried it!

Influenster Mystery Brand Voxbox ~ L'oreal

I was pleasentedly surprised to receive the Mystery VoxBox, I had taken the survey and did not qualify. I'm very happy that I received it, it contained L'oreal shampoo, conditioner and a split-end serum. I have a lot of hair as you can see in the photo! The brand is a mystery, whatever it is though, I'm totally loving it. It made my hair extremely soft! My boyfriend kept touching my hair and saying 'Wow your hair is really soft and hydrated!'. The split-end serum really feels like it is working! Now, in a week or so I will receive the full size products and find out the brand! I will let you all know what it is as soon as I get it! :)

Here is what I received from Influenster ~ Mystery Brand VoxBox

Here is my towel dried hair after using the Mystery Brand items!
